Taerion's Home

You have entered The Home of Taerion. He is a great Shaman dragon from DragonRose Adoptions. His strength lies within the facts that he was abandoned. He does not know that he will be strong yet. His normal nature is to be shy or timid. He is a Water Opal Dragon. It is our hope that he will bring rain to the desert.

It will be hard to get him to trust me. I thank the Great Spirit that he is in a cocoon and cannot fly away. I can talk to him daily and convince him that he is loved and needed. If he will bond with me, he will have a chance to grow up to be strong and proud!



Taerion is the 9th of 9 dragons in his parents only clutch. His mother is a strong Water Dragon named Granny who was abandoned once herself and his father is a beautiful Rainbow Butterfly Dragon named Grumpy Old Fart. He is Blue and Black and will have an equally Rainbow Butterfly and Water Body.



He is very timid and shy and blends into his cavern walls so look closely for him. I have trapped many birds for him when he hatches. The Eagle, Hawk, and Thunderbird are not on his menu.



Taerion was originally adopted February 18, 2002. He was abandoned while in his cocoon later that year. It is not right to treat such a magnificant creature in such a horrible manner. He was readopted by me on February 25, 2003. Only the DragonRose Goddess awards the worthy of her abandoned dragons.

Taerion has hatched from his Crystalis. The food I stock piled was enough to make an intial bond even if he doesn't completely trust humans yet. He and Spectrum seem to have developed a strong friendship. Maybe that in itself is what makes him trust me. He is very shy and timid at this time so walk softly.
